Ferrari's Fernando Alonso splashed his way to the top of the timesheets in a soaking first free practice session at the Belgian Grand Prix!!!

The double world champion, chasing his team's fourth successive Spa success, lapped the longest track on the calendar in two minutes 0.797 seconds with the local conditions ranging from torrential rain to occasional glints of sunshine.
